Took a little getting used to, but now that I know how to use it, it houses the perfect number of cards and allows for my building entry card to be used without removing it from the wallet. All this while protecting my cards with an RFID blocker (to be fair, I haven’t tested that). I love the clean, precise, minimalist package and I anticipate many years of reliable service out of the quality, sturdy framework. I ordered another color of band for it as well. I've been using the D03 Light Dapper Rail Wallet for a month or so now, and overall, I'm quite impressed. The rail system is fantastic, allowing me to get my cards in and out with relative ease. There is a bit of a trick to it: using your thumb to slide the first card out, followed by the next, fanning them vertically to see and choose the card you want, then slide them down less the one you're using. Fan them again to put the card back in the stack. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature and very efficient.
However, there are two caveats that keep me from giving it a full five stars. Firstly, the rail system does rub off a bit of the edges of the cards. While I understand the need for a good grip to keep the cards in place, it's still a minor annoyance.
The second issue is with the wallet band. I found that using the band made the wallet much more cumbersome and time-consuming to use. I couldn't find a practical system to get the cards out efficiently with the band in place. In fact, it almost made me return the wallet. But once I decided to try it without the band, it became an absolute gem, especially with the thumb trick.
A major selling point for me is the lanyard holes, which allow for the tether or a wallet chain if you prefer. Most minimalist wallets lack this feature, and it's crucial for me as it provides extra security against pickpockets even if I am a front pocket wallet user. This feature alone keeps my rating high.
In summary, while the D03 Light Dapper Rail Wallet may not be 100% perfect, it's still the best minimalist wallet I've used overall. I've tried other front pocket wallets with metal casings and spring-loaded systems that are easy to use and durable, but they often lack a place for a wallet chain and require additional accessories like a money clip. My previous favorite wallet, now my second favorite, had some great features like an adjustable system with paracord, a built-in money clip with a bottle opener, and a spot for a wallet chain. However, it could be cumbersome to quickly access cards, especially at a cash register with people waiting behind you, and required bills to be folded twice, which was inconvenient.
The D03 Light Dapper Rail Wallet excels with its rail system, allowing for faster card access, and the lanyard holes, which are crucial for my needs. While I don't use the wallet band and have to rely on a separate money clip in the end, the overall efficiency and functionality of this wallet make it my top choice. It accommodates the same number of cards as my previous wallet, provides quicker access, and has a spot for my Dango tether or wallet chain if you so choose. Despite some trade-offs, it ultimately offers the best balance of features and convenience for my needs.

I like the exoskeleton concept of the wallet a lot. It retains cards very well even without the band. One card (health insurance card) is like 0.5mm too wide to fit in there though and it drives me nuts. I'll have to trim the card with scissors to make it fit but I'm not sure I'll be precise enough to not make too aggressive of a cut.
The biggest nag for me though was that the included paracord had a snowball's chance in hell of fitting through the holes milled out of the frame corners. Pushing, pulling, using chopsticks, safety pins, tweezers - nothing worked. Eventually, the paracord just snagged when trying to pull it through and I had to dispose of it because the snag ruined the paracord. If the hole in the frame was just a hair bigger or if the cord was just a hair thinner, it would have been great.
