I love the design of this watch - super classic and elegant but not at all stuffy. It’s a really solid looking (and feeling) diver. The dial is perfectly balanced with high contrast markings, a great colour scheme, and excellent lume. Very little about the design is anything other than functional and useful, and the little aesthetic touches that are present don’t detract at all from legibility. 300m depth is great even though I’m sure I’ll never really test it. Accuracy of mine is about +9 seconds per day, as long as I wear it most of the time. It will go to more like +12-15 sec/day if it’s not in contact with body temp. All well within the specs of this movement and pretty good for the money regardless. I could try popping the back off and fine tuning a little bit, but I doubt it’s worth the trouble for minor improvements. I’m a big fan of the size of Dango’s watches. I have large hands and thick wrists so most watches look a little bit too wee for my liking. It’s heavy, but not so much that it’s any kind of problem. Really just enough to remind you you’re wearing it. There’s no question it’s on the large side of watches, but everything about the design is really well-proportioned, from the 45mm diameter to the 22mm band. The silicone band is excellent quality - doesn’t get sweaty or grimy, comfortable to leave on for multiple days at a time, through showers, etc.. I also have a DV-01 with a stainless band so I was able to try this out with both - personally I feel like the DV-02 is more interesting on a silicone band, but both looked great. I’m really impressed with Dango for coming out with such a thoroughly well-designed and well-implemented watch. Clearly they have the background in industrial design, but watches can be especially tricky. I know I’m picky about how they look/wear/function, in any case. To get this one (IMO) so perfect is really quite an achievement, and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next.

Very impressed with the auto diver. I am a watch collector and ran across Dango by accident and immediately began to research the brand. The quality is excellent, scale is spot on, solid movement, great look, design and the wearability is great. New fan and will order another soon.

DV-02 - Automatic Dive Watch with Silicone Sport Strap

I already own the Dango GMT as well as 12 other timepieces from Tag, Omega, and Tudor. However for the Christmas holidays we decided to head to Miami and guess which watch I brought? Yup. This one. It fits well, looks super sharp is large which I love and so far I’m thrilled with it! I’ll be back at Daytona at the end of January for the Rolex 24 hr race and I’ll probably wear this one or my GMT. ALL the others stay on my winder at home!

DV-02 - AUTOMATIC DIVE WATCH WITH SILICONE SPORT STRAP

I own about 2 dozen watches at the moment (the number can vary as I buy and sell). This is one of my favorites. This is a top-shelf professional dive watch that does not cut corners. The Seiko NH35 is a solid performer and a great choice for the movement. The DV-02 does not cut corners when it comes to features: screw-down crown, unidirectional bezel, sapphire crystal, well-lumed hands and face, and even a helium release valve. I absolutely love this watch. If anyone is thinking about buying it, pull the trigger. You will be glad you did.

As a watch collector I own a lot of watches.. Many old name brands (Rolex, Omega etc) and quite a few Micro Brands (Christopher Ward etc).. For the money this watch is quite nice and functional..
