Inspired by the fruits of the automotive industry, we developed a very special line of wallets called the R-Spec Edition. It not only incorporates clean lines with contrasting elements and textures, but also includes the finest materials that define high performance. Components such as carbon fiber, aerospace grade 6061 aluminum, resilient high-gloss prismatic powder-coated finishes and bolted top grain leather with accented stitching all combine to give an impression of a plush cockpit. All R-Spec wallets come equipped with a silicone wallet band with its ability to grip and handle content with flexibility and versatility.

This replaced my Trayvax Contour and I couldn’t be more pleased. i substitued the band for airtag band. Through some trial and error I found the airtag was best located on the thicker stacked card side.m with the flat side in the slim ID picket side, where I stow my bi-fold cash. Storing cash on the side of the cards interferes with being able to easily accesss the cards, which is accessed more frequently than than my ID. The Airtag on the card side does not interefere with accessing the cards. I have 5 cards on the card side which works but I think 4 works better as the RFID card (#6) rides slightly above the metal frame. On the wallet feame there is a small notch opposite the open side of the frame. The RFID card has a small contour to math that on the frame and a large contour tonoair with the open side of the frame. Operationally, I found pairing the large contour of the RFID with the small contour of the frame makes accessing the cards easier. Overall, the best minimalist wallet I have found, being able to carry the cash in a bi-fold manner really slims down the wallet profile whether carring in pocket or pouch. Quality is top notch and the band has plenty of retention to secure the items. The phot has 18 bills folded.
Love the wallet. This is my third D series wallet. I like the Rspec version, because the powder coat wears better than the metal colors on their other versions.
Great EDC wallet. I have the 007 edition and picked up the R-Spec due to the nice red frame and carbon fiber plate. The ability to mix and match the bands and plates between wallets with the same form factor is a nice feature. I have received compliments on both the R-Spec and 007 as well as the tether itself. Good looking way to keep cards close, secure, and easily accessible while also having a unique item and conversation starter.
I like the wallet overall, but would have preferred the gray model. Unfortunately, it was out of stock. In any case, thank you for making your products in America.
I purchased this to replace my Dango C-01. (or something like that) It’s ok, doesn’t seem to work as well. I’ll give it some more time along with the M1 Rail Wallet which I’m not thrilled with as the cards don’t seem to be so secure in. They have fallen out of the M1 in my pocket.
D01 R Spec for the win. You can't go wrong with this wallet. I was replacing my original that I purchased off the kicker starter campaign that was atleast 7 years ago. Stylish and built to last.
I Added another Dango Wallet to my collection. This will be my 4th wallet from Dango. The Red Carbon Fiber is definitely different and unique. Collecting all of the ones that fit my lifestyle. On to the next one.
The quality is great. Unfortunately I was looking for the folding version and purchased this one as it was on sale and I didn’t pay attention. I needed a version that can hold more cards. I have since ordered the correct one.
