The M4 Bifold Wallet was built for those who want the familiarity of a traditional bifold without giving up the strength, security, and modularity of modern EDC gear. Designed as the successor to the M1 Bifold and based on the proven M4 Wallet platform, this wallet is engineered around a CNC-machined aluminum chassis that serves as the backbone of the carry. Dango's rail system locks components in place while allowing compatibility with select M4 accessories, ensuring the wallet evolves with your carry.
At the center of the chassis is a hidden internal pocket, ideal for folded cash, coins and small everyday essentials you want kept out of sight. Premium leather or DTEX exterior panels are mounted to the frame for durability and a broken-in feel over time. Two additional interior pockets increase organization while maintaining a slim profile, allowing the M4 Bifold to carry 11–13 cards depending on thickness. A durable glass-filled nylon clip keeps the wallet securely closed during daily movement. Available in DTEX, Whiskey Brown Leather, Rawhide Leather, and Jet Black Leather, the M4 Bifold is built to handle everyday use—on the job, on the road, and everywhere in between.

Very pleased with this wallet. Fits more than my other bifold wallet. The added accessories like the blue accent card holders and the titanium money, make this wallet my favorite so far. I have several. Thank you Dango.
I like the wallet, But when you spend $150 on a wallet and accessories, the paint shouldn’t be chipping the day it gets to you. I bought this because I thought it was a quality wallet. I messaged the company, but they never responded. I was gonna order other stuff, but now I’m afraid that it won’t be quality stuff from this brand.
I’ve had the Maverick for about 2 weeks now and so far I am satisfied with it. It’s definitely the wallet I’ve been looking for. It’s compact and not bulky in the pocket. Empty it’s just a little thicker than a fine tip sharpie. As fast as durability that’s yet to be seen but I did have a screwdriver, wrench, screws in my pocket with it a few times with no damage to the wallet.
My first minimalist wallet was the dapper wallet and I really liked it. I had it for over 3 years. The band got worn out, and I unfortunately didn’t look into getting a replacement band, instead I threw it out and for the last 3 months have tried several different wallets from Amazon, and TikTok shop (approx 5), they just didn’t work out. I pulled the trigger and opted for the Maverick and I really like it. Still want to get a dapper again.
I have loved my M1 Spec-Ops for years. I work in the Healthcare industry and go in and out of hospitals a lot so I also have to cary my badges and lanyard. I was looking at options to consolidate and I thought "Oh, I can add the bages and a lanyard to my wallet and just have one thing to carry". When looking at the Dango site the M4 Billfold caught my eye and I decided to treat myself. I am so glad I did! The M4 Fits my cards, Id's, badges and is smaller and lighter than the M1! I have 11 different cards in it and I still have the "Secret Compartment" that I havent used yet. It being lighter really helps for using it with a lanyard and badges. My only complaint is that my MT04 Multi Tool is too big to fit in it. I hope they come out with a version for the M4. Maybe something that fits in the "Secret Compartment"? Dango has really hit it out of the park with this one.
I had the modular system before and switched to this after almost 5 years. To me, it is the way to go. Lighter, schick and smart. I love the lock, simple and effective. This configuration, I get to the card I want in no time. If you add transparent screen film for id compartment, I pay the extra.
By FAR the absolute BEST wallet I have ever owned!! I spent months looking and then deciding to purchase this one!! It was a big leap of faith!!! It paid off! I would never consider any other wallet than this one!!
I took a week, maybe 2 to get use to my first Dango wallet. I found that it was really good and I was glad I bought it. Sometimes, I needed a bit more, I didn’t want the money clip showing in my front pocket. So I ordered the Dango M4 with the money clip. It’s perfect. Still has a hidden compartment, money clip works great, holds a few more cards (all I need - not maxing it out), I really like the clip that holds it shut and the card rail system works even better. So now, every day I carry the M4, but if I go out for the night or I’m traveling overseas, I use my original Dango to truly go Minimalist. - great products!!!
I have a collection of Dango wallets that I’ve used through the years to meet various needs depending on the leisure or work tasks at the time. Now being retired, I am simplifying life somewhat and that includes what I carry on daily basis. This revision of the earlier Maverick hs hit the sweet spot in what I need to carry. Minimalistic but still large enough to hold the cash and cards needed but also light enough for my new favorite carry location on a lanyard. The updated clasp is also winner from the earlier designs. Great addition to the team!
I wasn't sure. I looked for months. I finally decided to take a chance on this one, having looked at it a dozen or more times. I freaking love it!! All my cards in all the right places. I knew I would need the money clip so I ordered it with the wallet! I love the whole thing!!
It’s a great upgrade from my 5 year old dango wallet I wish it held 2 more cards but the hidden cash feature and the quality of the product is top notch and well worth having to lighten my wallet load. It’s almost half the size of my last one and holds almost the same amount. I highly recommend this product.
For my use the only improvement would be a means of fastening a chain. Make one of the indentations at the top a hole which would allow a small ring to go through. That ring could then connect to a chain which fastened to my clothes.
Finally, a really great wallet. It is small, light weight, and very secure. I am able to carry all my cards, ID's and a bit of cash. Every one I've shown it to is impressed as well. A really great wallet!
Money clip I purchased didnt come with the screws to install. Then I covered the part for the cards so makes it useless. Also the plastic clip that closes Wallet came off first week.
Works great. Love having the ID window on the outside as I often have to show ID when checking into hotels. Have a Tesla key card in the other outside slot to wave and lock/unlock the car. The space under the 5 card slot is perfect for carrying a few greenbacks - I'm not a fan of having cash showing under a clip or band. I prefer to be discrete and keep the cash out of site. I shopped a lot of wallets before finding one that checked all the boxes above. Well done Dango!
After hunting down many minimalist wallets, the M4 bifold carries everything I need with no bulk. That included two licenses and my passport as well as insurance cards and of course credit cards.
It is compartmentalized enough to keep me from rifling through everything to get what I want. The accessory clip is essential for bills and teathering is easier with it.
Love it!
It's lighter and more compact compared to my old M1. The old M1 would occasionally ruin the edges of my credit cards if not inserted properly.
Pretty much as advertised. Rail system works well .
A clip or band to hold cash would be nice, the small space at the bottom of the rail is really too small to hold much of anything.
