I wish I could give it 4.9 stars. I would subtract just a bit since the durability of the tether isn’t the best. It is really good don’t get me wrong. I had one for almost 4 years and the edge of the slit where it loops through itself wore out and broke and I lost the hook and the strap. If the slit on the strap was reinforced with some stitching or something it would be perfect.
I love um. I bought myself the Dapper II and loved it till I discovered the Maverick. Told my wife I wanted one, "Maverick M1 bi-fold" in whiskey brown and she immediately went to the Dango site and said it'll be here in x-days. But she liked the rawhide. A few days later it shows up and before I opened it I cleaned out the Dapper and gifted it to a Buddy. Turns out the Dango sent the wrong one. They sent the Single pocket in rawhide. Dango doesn't leave a number for customer service so it took a few days for my wife to even make contact. Dango wanted pictures of what they sent and back and forth. In the meantime I just ordered the whiskey brown bi-fold accessory to swap it out myself. It was an extra 40 bucks but It's worth it. BTW still waiting on the bi-fold accessory for the original purchase to show up.
Tool is great.... band lasted about a year. Had to buy the tool in order to get another band. They should sell the band separately for replacing it down the road. Would have made me a happier customer.
A very well-designed piece, convenient and useful in several different ways. One star down because it is somewhat overpriced for such a small, simple item.
