It’s a wonderful wallet. After ordering without the money clip, but ordered the money clip afterwards - its better with the clip. The slide action is a little stiff, but I expect it to loosen over time. Very pleased with my purchase
I didn't buy this with the intention of replacing my other wallet but this little guy exceeded all expectations. Well made with premium materials and a slick deployment of the cards that's kinda addictive..highly recommended!
Make it move smoother I mean now I know y I was able to get it for 19 dollars, I am the owner of several of your products and this by far is the worst.
Pros: the material outer shell feels nice. Cards don’t fall out once Waller is slid open. The entire wallet is very slim.
Cons: even outer shell feels premium, entire construction feels pretty cheap. The front panel is loose, and after asking customer service they say it’s by design. Another dissapoint thing with this wallet is that I only have 5 cards but the front panel of the wallet can get stuck sometimes. I believe it’s because there is too much play of the tracks on both side of the wallet and if you open the wallet too much on one side it creates a imbalance and then makes the front panel stick. Another annoying thing with this wallet that a lot of people have been pointing out is that it can be very hard to open at times due to how slick the surface is. I had to buy some grip stickers and stick it the front and back of the wallet to make it useable. Lastly the inside of the wallet is already marred and scuffed from either the cards that I have inside or the plastic arm inside the wallet. If you have a dark colored wallet it may not be noticeable, but I have a silver one and it’s extremely obvious and ugly.
Overall the wallet looks nice from the outside, but in reality it feels quite cheap in the hands. Definitely not worth the MSRP. The only reason why I am keeping the wallet is that I got it on sale for like $25 and there’s no free returns. I wouldn’t recommend anyone getting this product at full price or even half price.
Send me what i pay for. I ordered the champagne edition cuz u said the price was going back up. Then the after midnight yall sell em even cheaper. Disappointed in weight, the color. They $u<%÷d my order up, ice tried getting a hold of em, aint heard shit back. But im getting plenty of emails to buy stuff from them.
The utility of this card holder is great, but it isn't the best one handed use. I find myself having to use both hands at times because the metal has nearly no grip, especially if I've just washed and dried my hands. The hinge can also be a little tough at times and will take two or more slides for the cards to pop out. Otherwise, no major complaints because it does exactly what I expected it to.
I wanted to like the Dango SK1, but it’s been a disappointment.
The first thing I noticed was how sharp the edges are. For a wallet that’s meant to be carried every day, it feels surprisingly uncomfortable in your pocket and in your hand.
The biggest issue, though, is the slide mechanism. It’s incredibly stiff and sticky. Instead of being a quick one-handed operation, it almost always requires both hands and a lot more force than it should. That completely defeats the purpose of having a quick-access wallet.
To make matters worse, the cards don’t fan out properly when they eject. They tend to stay bunched together, making it difficult to grab the card you actually want.
Overall, the SK1 looks great, but the functionality just isn’t there. A premium wallet should be smooth, intuitive, and comfortable to use. Unfortunately, this one falls short in all three areas.
This wasn't my first choice.
Will probably look for a bifold again to match my previous minimalist wallet.
Slide works extremely hard and 5 cards is not enough.
I really like this wallet it is very satisfying to open it and close it. It's almost like a fidget toy. The finish is a bit slick and I have small, dry hands, so without the money clip I'd probably struggle to open it. It holds the cards very securely. The optional money clip is also high quality.
I knew exactly what I wanted when I decideed to get an new wallet. I already have a different wallet from you guys so this was the first place I looked. Happy to support this brand.
This was exactly what I was looking for! Fits the 4 cards I use the most perfectly. Works as intended. Take a little getting used to on how t slide it open, but gets easier.
The functionality of the wallet is not as smooth as other brands out there. So I immediately stop using it. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to others.
Overall I really like the SK1 wallet!! My only gripe is that you have to use both hands to push on the wallet to access your cards. I think adding some serrations or something on the side would add some good grip to it. Great wallet though!
Works great, was stiff at first, but after wearing it, it actually loosens up. I put it on the same level as a competition version. I like using the money clip better on Dango, it can hold extra cards like ID's if your wallet is full. Price! Is pretty steep, but watch for the sales.
I really wanted to like this SK1 wallet. The build quality was good, however it was a little flimsy. Also the tension and the silicone friction parts grab the cards too strongly. This, even after repeatedly opening and closing the kick action. I still couldn't open it using one hand.
It looks nice, but the break-in/functionality is not good. I tried to use it for the specified amount of time suggested by customer service, but was unable to achieve good function. They are also resistant to me returning it and making it difficult on me such that I don't return it. So, I guess I'll have to 'eat it' this time. I got 'got'.
Little bulky for what i like. They make it out to be sleek and minimal, but it's larger than it looks online. The slide feature is not smooth, maybe over time it will get better, but i don't know if i can get over the size. Gonna try it for a couple days.
The wallet seems to be too stiff because my hand slips. I think I may need the money clip attachment to get a better grip. I was hoping it would loosen up but it hasn't enough for my daily use. Also the cards don't fan out enough. There doesn't seem to be a large enough separation. Am I doing something wrong or do I have a bad wallet.
